YMRR HO Scale train operating train display

open house dates:

 The Yuma Model Railroaders Modular Division has their HO Scale layout set up and operating at the Southgate Mall in Yuma from now until Fair time.

Saturday Jan. 14th 11 AM to 4 PM

Saturday Jan. 28th 11 AM to 4 PM

Sunday Jan 29th 1 PM to 4 PM

 Union Pacific Steam locomotive arrives in Yuma for Arizona Centennial Special!!

Will be on display on Wednesday Nov 16 from 9 Am to 5 PM, free and open to the public. 600 block South Gila Street, just south of Giss Parkway in Yuma.

 Thurs. 15th work session, track, ballasting, 0930- 12-ish 

Saturday Jan. 14th 11 AM to 4 PM

Open swap meet: A couple tables will be set up so if you have something extra to trade or sell bring it along priced right to sell and or find something you've been missing.

10th: NMRA Meet Phoenix

Several YMRR members planning on attending, let us know to set up a car pool.

During the 2010 Yuma County Fair there was a strong earthquake felt here. The following pictures show the 'effects' caused to the YMRR Railroad.

No, these were not staged, this is how we found the layout after returning into the structure after evacuating out during the strongest main tremor that occurred that day. No significant damage but it sure has been a topic of conversation!
